Dr. Matt Scott
Dr. Matt Scott joins Wellsville Family Dental as a general dentist who brings experience, advanced training, and enthusiasm to our practice.
Dr. Scott graduated Magna Cum Laude from University of Missouri-Columbia. After graduation, he attended and graduated Summa Cum Laude from A.T. Still University and is a member of the Academy of General Dentistry. He also is a proud member of the Kansas Army National Guard where he prepares soldiers for their deployments both foreign and domestic.
As a dentist in Wellsville KS, Dr. Scott offers exceptional care to patients at Wellsville Family Dental. He places the highest priority on providing the best quality dental care possible, giving patients the smile they have always wanted, and making a positive impact in the Wellsville, KS community. He feels a strong connection to his patients and enjoys helping them achieve their dream smiles. He also feels strongly about alleviating dental pain, so he embraces the latest dental technology for your comfort.
Outside of dentistry, Dr. Scott loves to spend time with his family and dogs. He met his wife and best friend, Brooke, in 2019, and the two were married in December 2020. They have two Australian Shepherds, Ziggy and Zai, who are quite possibly the best dogs in the world. Matt and Brooke are expecting their first child in late February 2024 and couldn’t be more excited for the journey.
Dr. Scott enjoys working out, cooking, trying new restaurants, and doing household renovation projects. He especially loves cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs football team, Sporting Kansas City soccer team, KC Royals baseball team, and the Detroit Red Wings hockey team. As a sports enthusiast and loyal to his alma mater, Dr. Scott wants you to know that he also watches Mizzou athletics!
Patient satisfaction is particularly important to Dr. Scott — he looks forward to hearing how he can help you achieve your perfect smile. Dr Scott treats patients from Wellsville, Gardner, Edgerton, Baldwin City, Ottawa and surrounding communities. He grew up in Overland Park, KS, and still resides there today.
